Q. Dear Rabbi Friedman, I am a Jewish Convert. I am married and had problem having kids with my new wife, but I do have children from my previous marriage. I had froze my sperm to help get my new wife Pregnant but that didn’t work and know we are getting a divorce. What can or must I do with my frozen sperm? I no longer needs the sperm, what must I or can do now? Dispose of it? Donate it? Please help.

Dear Friend:

I consulted with several Dayonim in Israel that specialize in fertility question. The answer I received was that he’s allowed to use the sperm he has in the bank. Or you can give it to the bank. There’s no problem with that.

All the best

Rabbi Shimon Fridmann
