First Section – the Positive Commandments

66. It is a positive commandment to give wages to a worker on the same day

As it states in Devarim (Deuteronomy) 24:15, “On that day you shall pay his wages.” This law also applies to a foreigner that lives among the Jews, as long as he has accepted upon himself the Seven Noahide Laws.

This applies in all places and at all times, for men and for women (see Negative Commandment 38 for more information)
