Regarding the obligation of immersion in a mikveh, there is no need to talk about this, as who among our people does not know this great Torah obligation that a woman is a niddah until she goes to the mikveh? Even if the woman is elderly and it has been many years since she has last seen blood flowing, she is still spiritually impure according to Torah law from the time the blood flow began if she has not gone to the mikveh. The prohibition of a niddah is well known by all Jews, even the youngest child who only has knowledge of the Five Books of Moses, because it is a clear verse in Vayikra (Leviticus) 18:19,”You shall not approach a woman who is a niddah to uncover her nakedness.” It is also written at the end of that section (Vayikra 18:29),”whoever does any of these abominations will be spiritually excommunicated from their people.” This means, not only the man, but even the woman will be spiritually excommunicated because of this sin. It is repeated numerous times in this Torah section regarding this sin being an abomination that makes the land and the soul of a person impure, that the person will be completely cut off from the living land. Even if idol worshipers force him to perform this terrible act, he should give up his life instead of committing this sin, as it is like idol worship.
